Data Deletion Status

When you revoke Metaswap’s access from your social account settings, disconnect the account in the app, or submit a deletion request, we immediately and permanently destroy:

• The OAuth access and refresh tokens we held for that account.
• The account identifier and handle we stored for it.
• The link between that social account and your Metaswap account.

After this, Metaswap can no longer read anything from your social account — no profile information, no posts, and no performance metrics.

Earnings, payouts, and campaign participation records are financial history. We are required to retain them for tax, accounting, and anti-fraud purposes, and they remain associated with your Metaswap account rather than your social account.

View counts already recorded for clips you submitted stay attached to those submissions, because they are the basis on which you were paid. They contain no information about your social account beyond the numbers themselves and stop updating the moment the connection ends.

To remove your Metaswap account itself, open Settings in the Metaswap app and scroll to Delete account at the bottom. On the web it is on your account settings page. You can also email support@metaswap.xyz. Account deletion scrubs your personal information and destroys every connected-account credential, keeping only the financial skeleton described above.
